Who we are and how the brokerage works

Peer Bikdoshim provides brokerage services: we connect customers with scribes and suppliers of Judaica and STaM. The purchase itself is made with the supplier, and our commission is included in the price shown.

Before a deal closes, we give you in writing the supplier’s details, the item description, the final price and payment terms, when and how it will be delivered, and the cancellation terms.

Information on the site

• Prices are in Israeli shekels on the Hebrew site and in US dollars on the English site. A price marked “from” is a real price of the basic version. The final price and the payment currency depend on the options you choose and are given in the written quote before the deal closes.
• Every handwritten item is unique. A photo of a ready item in stock shows that item itself; a photo of a custom-order item is an example only.
• The script, kashrut level, size and certificates of each item are shown as given by that item’s scribe, examiner or supplier.

Inquiries, orders and payment

Sending a list, a WhatsApp message or an inquiry through an AI agent is a request for a quote, not a binding purchase. A deal closes only after you approve the final quote. The site does not take online payments at the moment.

Cancelling a purchase

Your right to cancel is set by the Israeli Consumer Protection Law and the Consumer Protection (Cancellation of Transaction) Regulations. In short:

• You can cancel within 14 days of receiving the item or of receiving the document with the deal details, whichever is later.
• Senior citizens (65 and over), people with disabilities and new immigrants (up to 5 years from receiving that status) may cancel within 4 months, when the deal included a conversation between them and the business (including by phone or WhatsApp).
• On a cancellation that is not due to a defect, the amount paid is refunded less a cancellation fee of up to 5% of the price or 100 NIS, whichever is lower.
• An item made or written especially for you to your order, for example a custom-written Torah scroll or an item with a dedication, cannot be cancelled under the law.

Delivery

When and how the item will be delivered, and the cost if any, are given in the quote before the deal closes.

Use by AI agents and automated systems

AI agents and automated systems may use our public interfaces (catalog, inquiry and status lookup) as documented and within the rate limits. An agent acting for a person must have that person’s permission and may share their details only with their consent. An agent’s inquiry is not a binding purchase until the person approves the quote.

Intellectual property

The content, images and design of the site belong to Peer Bikdoshim or to their rights holders. Do not copy them for commercial use without permission.

Responsibility

We work to keep the information on the site correct and current. If you find a mistake, please tell us. Responsibility for the item itself lies with the supplier under the terms of the deal and the law, and these terms do not reduce your rights under the law.

Governing law

Israeli law applies to these terms. Nothing in them limits your right to go to the competent court under the law.
